Why
Under the gun is first to act before the flop. This sheet plays 2.6% of hands here, against 3.3% from middle position: the later you act, the more you see before you choose, so the more hands you can play.
A nit plays only the strongest starting hands. "Only the nuts" says it: the nuts is the best hand possible on the board. After the flop a nit bets with top pair or better and folds without it, and calls a raise mostly from the big blind, which already has a bet in.
Recovery strategy. Use NIT style when rebuilding your bankroll after a downswing, or when you're at an aggressive table.
