Privacy Policy

Plain-English version

PokerPro is built to be useful with as little data collection as possible. This policy covers the website, pokerpro.tools, and the PokerPro app. We don't sell your data. We don't track you across the web or across other apps. The tools run on your device, in your browser or in the app: your hands, ranges and bankroll never touch our servers unless you use one of the AI tools or save something to your account.

What we collect

• Standard server logs. Like every web server, ours record IP addresses and requested URLs. The AI tools use them to enforce their free limits. These logs are short-lived.
• Storage on your device. On the website, the bankroll manager, your usage counter for the AI tools and your cookie-consent choice are stored in your browser's localStorage. In the app, your settings, course progress, play-table hands and coach counter are stored on your phone, and your sign-in session is kept in the phone's secure keychain. We never read any of this from our servers.
• Page-view analytics (website). We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser, so it runs on every page. If you additionally accept the analytics category in the cookie banner we load Google Analytics, which does set cookies. That one stays off until you say yes, and you can withdraw at any time. The app has no analytics.
• Your account, if you make one. An account is optional on the website and in the app. You can sign in with an email code or link, a password, Google, or Sign in with Apple. We store your email address, how you sign in, your plan, and what you save to it: journal sessions and goals, saved ranges, lesson progress, leak reports, and trainer and play history. Accounts are stored with Supabase. From Apple we ask for an email address only, and Apple lets you hide your real one.
• Payments. Purchases on the website are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record: they handle your card and tell us your email address, the plan you bought and its status. Purchases in the app are processed by Apple through the App Store: Apple handles the payment, and we never see your card. RevenueCat records which plan was bought in the app and tells us, linked to your account when you are signed in, so the plan works on the website and in the app.
• AI Hand Reviewer and AI Leak Report. Hand text you submit to the AI Hand Reviewer, and the statistics the AI Leak Report computes from your hands, are sent to Anthropic (Claude API) for analysis. We don't keep the hand text; a leak report is saved to your account when you are signed in. See Anthropic's privacy policy for their data handling.
• Email. If you subscribe to the newsletter, or ask to hear when the app launches, we store your address and send those emails through Resend. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• Feedback. If you send us feedback, we keep the message, the page it was sent from, your browser or app details, and your email address if you give one.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or rent your data.
• We don't use behavioural ad-tracking, and the app shows no ads.
• We don't fingerprint your browser or your device.
• We don't require accounts or sign-ups for the free tools, on the website or in the app.

Cookies (website)

Necessary: tiny localStorage entries needed for the tools (bankroll data, AI counter, consent choice).

Analytics (opt-in): our page-view counter (Vercel Web Analytics) sets no cookies at all, so this toggle does not cover it. Accepting the category loads Google Analytics, which does set cookies to deduplicate sessions.

Affiliate attribution (opt-in): if enabled, we track which outbound link sent a visitor to a poker room, anonymously, so we know which placements work. No personal data attached.

The app sets no cookies.

Third parties

Vercel: our hosting provider and our page-view analytics provider. Subject to Vercel's privacy policy.

Supabase: stores accounts and what you save to them.

Google: Google Analytics, loaded only if you accept the analytics category in the cookie banner; and Google sign-in, only if you choose it.

Apple: Sign in with Apple, if you choose it, and App Store purchases in the app.

Dodo Payments: our merchant of record for purchases on the website.

RevenueCat: records purchases made in the app, so your plan reaches your account.

Anthropic: processes AI Hand Reviewer and AI Leak Report requests only when you explicitly use those tools.

Resend: sends the newsletter and the app launch email.

Poker rooms: when you click through to a room via our affiliate links on the website, the room sets its own cookies and is governed by its own privacy policy. We are not responsible for what happens after you leave PokerPro.

Your rights

• Withdraw cookie consent at any time using the banner.
• Clear all browser-stored data via your browser's settings; deleting the app removes what it stored on your phone.
• Delete your account and everything saved to it at any time: in Account on the website, or Me › Delete account in the app. A plan bought in the App Store is billed by Apple, so cancel it in your iPhone's Settings as well.
• Under GDPR / CCPA: request what data we have on you, or ask us to delete it, including server log entries that include your IP. Email us at privacy@pokerpro.tools.

Children

PokerPro is intended for adults of legal gambling age. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy materially, we'll update the "last updated" date and resurface the cookie banner if categories change.
