Why

Under the gun is first to act before the flop. The pot started at $0.15, the blinds, and every bet and call added to it, up to $6.55. Hero put in $3.25, a result of +$3.00 (+30.0 bb). The equity under each street is the chance against one random hand, not against what the other player really held. Each street deals more cards to the board; the pot is everything bet so far, and a hand that is still live at the end goes to showdown.

How equity is worked out

Equity is calculated vs a uniform random hand at each street using a 4,000-trial Monte Carlo simulation. For range-based equity (more accurate vs an opponent's actual playing range), use the Range Equity Calculator.
