6-card PLO equity: the flattest Omaha there is
6-card PLO (PLO6) deals six hole cards. The 2+3 rule is unchanged — your hand must use exactly two hole cards and exactly three board cards — but six cards hold C(6,2) = 15 two-card holdings, so the evaluator checks 15 × 10 = 150 five-card hands per player per runout. There are C(52,6) = 20,358,520 distinct starting hands.
The practical effect is that almost everybody has a piece of almost every board. Premium hands are still premium, but they win far smaller pots than their names suggest, and the value of redraws — a second flush draw, a wrap that improves to the nuts — goes up sharply.

The 4-card figure is an exact enumeration of all 1,086,008 boards; the other two are simulations. A hand that is a 2-to-1 favourite in 4-card PLO is close to a coin flip with two more cards in each hand.

Yes. Exactly two hole cards and exactly three board cards, as in every Omaha variant. Six hole cards give you fifteen two-card holdings to choose from instead of six.
How many 6-card PLO starting hands are there?›
C(52,6) = 20,358,520 distinct starting hands. On each runout the evaluator checks 150 possible five-card hands per player: fifteen two-card holdings times ten three-card board combinations.
Why are 6-card PLO equities so close together?›
With fifteen two-card holdings each, both players connect with most boards. Aces and kings double-suited beat kings and queens double-suited 69.1% of the time in four-card PLO, about 67% in five-card and about 59% in six-card, all computed with the same engine.
Is 6-card PLO the same as Big O?›
No. Big O is a five-card hi-lo split game where a qualifying 8-or-better low takes half the pot. 6-card PLO is high-only: the best high hand wins everything.
