What "curated" means here
Every range is a solver-informed baseline adjusted for how micro-stakes games actually play: slightly tighter cold-calls (rake punishes marginal calls at NL2-NL10), slightly more value-weighted 3-bets (people don't fold enough), and isolation ranges that assume limpers are weak. They agree with the preflop charts on the core and extend them to spots the charts don't cover. Are the ranges for cash games or tournaments?›
Both. The opens, defends, 3-bets, 4-bets, isolations, and squeezes assume 100bb cash-game stacks. The push/fold section covers 10-20bb tournament shoves and calls, where Nash charts take over from standard ranges.
Should I follow these ranges exactly?›
As a starting point, yes — a disciplined baseline beats improvisation at micro stakes. As you gather reads, deviate on purpose: tighten your calls against nits, widen your isolations against limpers. The notes on each range tell you which direction to bend.
Which ranges should a beginner learn first?›
